Why can't Europeans appreciate this greatest invention of mankind?
>>
They can't afford it

Mama said Europeans can't use no air conditioner cuz they aint gots no license
>>
Because our construction techniques generally keep the buildings in livable temperature year around without. Some shitty block of flats with south-facing big windows are in trouble yes.

You only need AC because you can't afford houses made from bricks that need no AC to keep room temperatures comfy.

A ptac unit can cool over a 500 square feet room for over 10 years at 1k or lower

You do have to lose an entire window or cut a hole in your fucking wall but that's a good price

Hans, it gets much hotter in the USA than most places in Europe. AC is just a way of life out here.
>>
>>537876561
I would feel like a bitch getting that for 2 weeks of high temperatures a year.

You know why they make ovens out of brick? It's not because it keeps the fire nice and cool.
>>
>>537876561
Ok it's starting to get a little inorganic.

Instead they just bitch about it for two weeks straight and die like the bitches they've become. Can't believe those people ever conquered anything.

Why do Americans always say such ridiculously stupid things?
>>
>>537877677
they conquered your great-great-great-great-great grandmother, they conquered her real good
>>
>>537877677
not me. I want it to become even hotter.
>>

Literally every house in Norway has a heat pump which also functions as an AC.
>>

In the southern US, bricks end up holding onto the heat from sunset through around midnight. A few hours of cooling later, it gets hot again. The humidity doesn't let things cool. Even after two layers of blinds and some side curtains, AC is required.
