Do you think Belarus made a good choice to save national identity but stay poor in Russian sphere? All the butthurtbelt countries are now pretty much the same shit, just eastern europe, almost empty, cheap workforce for germans. Only some weird guys can tell them apart. But Belarus is famous.
>>
>>537878415
I do not like Lukashenko because he is an anti semite and also he got rid of the Belarusian language. I think you can be pro Russian while retaining your seperate identity.
>>
>>537878415
Yes because Belarus is the highest IQ White country in the world and the Whitest country in the world as a percentage of population.
Who cares if you’re “poor” if you live in the land of your ancestors, you have a job, you have a free-and-clear apartment and dacha, etc.
Apparently university education is totally free if you agree to work a certain amount of years in a government-designated job.

We need to build a new sphere but it has to be with Jews but it will be hard to get Jews. But if we get Jews in the Russian sphere it will enrich it

why do you think so? Have you been to Belarus? They actually use it as cultural heritage, in names and some non invasive stuff. It is a very civilized way to do it. Why would you force anyone to learn useless nowadays language for any other purpose except cultural heritage? Ukrainian did like decades long program, similar to Hebrew. They completely made up modern version of Ukrainian because Americans were throwing money for that to linguistic institutes. So they of course stole most of it and now they force everyone to speak some kind of abomination that has nothing original written in it. It is not going to survive like that, people will either speak german or english, polish at the end, normal modern language.

Nigger, I personally visited Minsk on a business trip, 2 times before 2020 and had some talk with immigrants, mostly IT guys and university chicks. Belarus is an open air museum of USSR with some occasional XVII century buildings from Polish- Lithuanian Commonwealth and with all possible issues of the modern world, from both Russia and the rest of Europe.
Minsk itself has no historical legacy. It was leveled during WWII and the oldest building is a 1920 factory turned to restaurant.
The country itself is in a limbo and the people are aware of that. The union state with Russia both cripples the economy and keeps it alive at low heart beat, joining the EU would destroy them.
It's a place to leave and then, one day, when things get better, maybe to return with money earned elsewhere. Not a place to migrate to.

USSR is their history. It might be boring for you now, but for anyone who are not familiar with that it is very interesting, and imagine how cool it will be to have such thing in 100 years. Minsk is very well planned with huge parks and soviet stile architecture not spoiled with modern stuff in the centre, many details are from USSR kept untouched, very nice to see and comfortable to live. This is what i call civilised approach. You just try to keep your history whatever it is, if it is unique and interesting. Look at hohols, destroyed everything and build mcdonalds, what is to see there? Also russia did the same. But when you go to Minsk you indeed feel like in a museum and it is quite enjoyable. It is gone everywhere else, fucking barbarians erase all the stuff with every new president, you will never keep the culture like this, look at hohols.
>>
>>537879833
So what. They have it, why destroy? If you want something else build what you want, there is plenty of space. But why destroying the original look of historical part? How would people learn about Dzerzhinskiy? You take a bus and go to misk with a history teacher, the best way.

>Belarus saved national identity
Get the fuck outta here! No one even speaks Belorussian in their cities anymore and that crooked farm manager wanted to live like back in the USSR. The retard managed to fuck up so badly that Belarus, known for their potato growing back in the day, has to import potatoes from fucking Egypt now to prevent shortages.
>>
>>537880795
You can say many bad things about any country. But history you can not change. And it is subjective anyway. Today you like, tomorrow you don't, in 100 years you don’t give a fuck. Destroying monuments is barbarism. It always interesting to see how things looked backed then. Seriously, germans even keep fucking concentration camps.

It's a soviet city with commie blocks updated to modern, featureless city with skyscrapers. There's absolutely nothing unique about it.
Take Warsaw from early 2000s, add there commie imagery and that's your Minsk. McDonald, modern "architecture" in the downtown, cuckboxes, smartphones, mystery meat (pajeets have there a few companies since 2009)- everything is there.
Then you go to a small town and what you will see is a peripheral town from Eastern Poland, frozen in times of 1970s Polish People's Republic.

Warsaw has nothing to see, people go there only for cheap bars. Minsk is cool, you can walk around and see original stuff. It is not preserved anywhere else. You can actually have a cultural travel there, reading about what you see. In warsaw people only check bars and tinder.

There is only one place tourists check in Warsaw, the palace of culture. And Minsk is literally the whole city like that. If travels are more relaxed there is not a single person would prefer visiting Warsaw to Minsk.

it's just getting rid of ugly soviet kitsch. Not every city and town needs a cookie cutter statue or bust of Lenin/Stalin/Pushkin, especially the places they've never been. The soviet statues are just occupation markers installed by invaders to mark their conquered territory and have no historical/esthetic value.
>>
>>537881292
>you can walk around and see original stuff
what the fuck are you talking about? Most of the city was ruined during WWII, so almost everything you see in Minsk is soviet crap built a few decades ago. Old Kyiv was also destroyed by the retreating soviets in 1941.

Now this is some hardcore bullshit.
Belarusian is heavily russified Polish, one of the Eastern dialects. Part of the population used latin script before WWII. It's possible to communicate (with major difficulties) using Polish only, which makes it closer to Czechia and Slovakia than Russia.

It doesn't seem like there are any good choices. You only can choose between globohomo (replaced by niggers and muslims) and gulaghomo (replaced by turkic muslims)

I think the actually winning move was for Eastern Europe to have banded together to be independent. But that would have been "too hard"
>>
>>537882183
The problem of Eastern europe is that they are always made to choose sides. If they would manage to have good relations with both camps they would be like Switzerland. But too dumb for that.
>>

YES!

>ut too dumb for that.

Seems so, Ukraine was in the right position before the "nazi"(lmao) "revolution" in 2014 because it could at least play both sides against each other. Now it has to be fully enslaved to the west and for what? To lose all its young men? to have complete economic dependence on foreign nations? It's Retarded

Lukashenko does exactly that, an acrobatic side split between the EU, Baltics, Poland and Russia. Belarus is as far from Switzerland as possible by all metrics.
Ukraine remained in Russian sphere of influence. It's in worse state than Belarus all the time, no matter if it's pre- 2013 Moscow puppet or post- 2013 anti- Moscow kike.
The stronger are the ties to Russia, the worse it gets for the country in question.

soviet monuments are usually pretty good
the nazi era statues were kitsch as hell
almost like hitler's shitty paintings turned to stone
