I'm willing to try it. Does it have to be hienz beenz? Do you use butter before adding beans to prevent the bread from getting soggy, and is the bread toasted or just straight out of the bag?
>>
>>537909701
Gott strafe anglos.
>>
>>537911090
toasted with salted butter, some people prefer heinz some branston, some supermarket brand. heinz will be easiest for you to acquire
>>
>>537909701
beans on toast is delicious.
>>
I get that everyone these days wants some weird fucking global fusion food to eat but there is nothing wrong with a good meat and veggie plate.

Some tasty beans and toast is fine.
>>
>>537909701
>bongs
You're talking about poors.

What do poor Croatians eat? Cardboard?
>>
>>537911195
Heinz is somewhat difficult to come by around here. I know of one supermarket that has it, they've got a top notch bakery too, so I'll pick up a good whole wheat loaf. Looking forward to it.
Oh, beans are heated up obviously, right?
>>
>>537909701
It’s actually pretty nice /pol/ made me try it
>>
>>537911421
yes, buttered toast, if you're feeling fancy grate some cheese on top
>>
>>537911552
Is vegimite on toast an acquired taste? I've got a tiny idea what it's gunna be like, and I'm not sure it'll be easy to stomach at first
>>
>>537911421
>Oh, beans are heated up obviously, right?
yup. cheesy beans on toast is even better. Melt a bit of chedder through the beans. If you don't want to go for cheesy beans I'd recommend melting a little butter through the beans too and add a little salt, pepper and maybe a sprinkling of paprika.
t. beans on toast enjoyer

Calm it down there, money bags. I've still got health insurance I've got to pay for
>>
>>537911660
it is an acquired taste kind of.
you will be able to stomach it just fine its just a very overwhelming taste if you haven't had it before and if you put way too much than you can handle.
buttered toast, just a very small amount of vegemite (about a beans sized amount) and spread it over the piece of buttered toast, its nice.
>>
Is that Captain Jean Picard, of the USS Enterprise?
>>
>>537911355
Croats make excellent sausages and schnitzel. Very germanic inspired cuisine. Great wine too. Had a lovely time in Zagreb.
>>
>>537909701
Damn, Picard really let himself go after retirement.

Heinz are a little too sweet for me; if you can get Branston, use Branston
it's up to you how you like it, but I make it with a couple of slices of River Cottage simple white loaf:
but I use a 60/40 mixture of strong white and seeded locally-grown-and-milled flours, so you get nice maillard flavours from the toasted seeds

toast the bread under the grill, spread with real Salted Butter
pour on your (microwaved in covered glass jug) beans
grate a little cheddar on top (I like Black Bomber, but you put on whatever you can get)
and then a twist of Tan Hoi Vietnamese black pepper (it's genuinely superior to generic black pepper)

it's really good, and made better by good ingredients
I think the only people turning their noses up haven't actually tried it
>>
I love carbs but this looks beyond grim

Beans and bread are both peasant food. Servantslop. Humans eat meat, vegetables, and sometimes fruit
>>
>>537912279
good breakfast if you don't want an oat bomb, good light dinner.

>>537912322
>bro thinks he's not a peasant
>>
>>537912322
theres evidence humans were eating grains 100,000 years ago
>>
>>537912322
you attempt to feign class, but in doing so you betray an ignorance of the historicity of the humble baked bean
do you know what Fortnum & Mason is?
do you know where tins of baked beans were first sold in the UK?

people like you wouldn't have been able to afford them at one point
>>
>>537912322
Damn how's the weather up on that high ass horse of yours?
These guys are sharing something that they genuinely enjoy, you too good to spend a few dollars to make a quick snack to connect with a few anons across the ocean?
>>
>>537911970
It's deputy director bullock of the CIA. Common mistake
>>
>>537909701
Never had it, but I like toast and I like beans.
>>
>>537909701

>>
>>537909701
Holy shit, he posted it, again, the madlad!!
>>
>>537909701
I'll bet Captain Picard likes Bangers and Mash too !
>>
>>537909701
