If they feel they can extinguish a rival foreign company then the Chinese government will step in so they can sell RAM for $200 until foreign companies die, but there's no indication that will happen due to the sheer rarity of this stuff.

GPUs are complex and gaming GPUs require a shitload of networking and collaboration to get drivers working, you're gonna have to constantly work with devs and microsoft to get the drivers to work. This is why Intel was laughed at when they entered the GPU market, yes their GPU is still a piece of shit and that will never change but its still better than China's GPU by a lot.
