It's 43°C right now. I can't install air conditioning because my city's regulations prohibit it, due to carbon neutrality goals and aesthetic considerations. I bought a nutsack cooler, but even that isn't helping. What can I do anons? Is all hope lost?
>>537975409Cow dung is a natural heatsink
>>537975409Bro, just open a window.
>>537975409Install a ceiling fan, you get a refreshing breeze indoors at minimum cost.
>>537975409Get an air mattress and put about an inch of water in it.Too bad you can't get a waterbed these days.
>>537975409>the city says I can’t Do it anyway?
>>537975734He isn't Muslim so they will violently arrest him
>>537975629Unfortunately, I can't install a ceiling fan either. I live in an apartment building and the community rules prohibit installing anything on the ceiling>>537975726I'm pretty sure EU regulations prohibit the sale of that kind of thing, since I doubt it's been certified by the safety regulatory agency
>>537975409Shitskins that rule you wont die though
>>537975409>>537976198Buy a portable AC unit online and just put the exhaust pipe covertly in your window. They work well, are pretty energy efficient and they would need a warrant to come inside and prove what your doing before you could get into trouble for it...
>>537975409you gotta install an air intake to get maximum ventilation in the scrotal zone. look into the underwear modding community
>>537976645he could pipe the exhaust into his refrigerator.
>>537975583Its not recommended to open windows during actual heatwaves you moron. Inside is cooler than outside.
>>537975409where does this meme that we can't afford an AC come from anyways. i have one set to the very minimum (dehumidifying setting i think?) and it feels like 25Cº in the living room which is chilly for me. idk if im doing smth wrong but it only added about 15€ to my bills.
>>537976721Or pipe the exhaust into an already existing appliance chimney going to the roof. Just get a Y-pipe at the hardware store. It would expected that a roof exhaust for something like a water heater would expel hot air, and almost impossible to prove without investigation inside. I live in the US and use one of these to cool down my entire place. It's like 68F inside while 90F+ outside. Just make sure you put the unit high up. On some milk crates or something. The higher up they are the better they function.
>>537975409Just drink some sangria and take a nap.
>>537976969everyone goes with the window units here but i like the idea of a portable one instead.
>>537975583You must be at least 18 years old to post here.
>>537975409And you will be le happy.13th floor still gets AC btw.
>>537975409just get a few portable units dumbass.Fuck I even run some in the dead of winter here, to help keep my spare bed room with my server rack around 10c (window open to let cold winter air in, ac running to move even more heat energy out.)
>>537975409https://www.wikihow.com/Make-an-Easy-Homemade-Air-Conditioner-from-a-Fan-and-Water-BottlesThank me later, if you want something better you would need a compressor and something to circulate water and at that point, just buy a transportable AC unit like one of those suitcase thingies
>>537977304keep spamming that.
>>537975409>because my city's regulations prohibit it, due to carbon neutrality goals and aesthetic considerationssounds like a fake story
