This flag, known as the Black Dragon Flag, serves as a symbol for the Han people. This flag has now become a very common sight on Chinese online platforms and TikTok, and the Han nationalist movement is expected to grow even more intense in the future.

Despising the historical rule of the Manchu people, they deeply disparage the Qing Dynasty and look to the Han and Ming Dynasties as their spiritual pillars.

Paradoxically, however, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is displeased with and reluctant to support this Han nationalist movement. This is because the territory of modern China was effectively established by the Qing Dynasty. It was the Qing Dynasty that conquered Manchuria, Inner Mongolia, Xinjiang, and Tibet, eventually passing these lands down to today's Han majority.

Conversely, based strictly on Han nationalist ideology, these regions would not be considered rightful Han territories. Consequently, while the CCP remains wary of the Han nationalist movement, the Chinese public is driving the movement to become increasingly intense because the Han people make up over 90% of the population, creating a starkly contrasting dynamic.

That’s why their population is 90% retard. Our country used to be 90% ethnic European and Globohomo jews replaced and erased us precisely because everyone gave up on any form of nationalism or pride in something resembling a collective.
The Han flag is based too. I like it.

Behind them stand Red Guards with banners and armoured warriors bearing the Black Dragon Flag, a modern invention appropriating historical motifs. The violent imagery expresses hostility towards the Maoist China that opposed “Han chauvinism” and to contemporary leftist critics of Han ethnonationalism, both online and off.

Yeah, you cant have a commercially viable computer game in china these days when you are disrespecting Han supremacy.

Picrel soulslike game costed the director his job because it made you fight Han-chinese heroes who resisted the Qing. The game was really good but got so much hate online that it had to release a patch that changed the story.

What a leap in logic.
No Han chauvinist wants to give up these territories. They just hate the Qing not for being foreign invaders but for being incompetent during the age when western imperialism attacked China. We have to remember that the Qing court executed their own reformers who wanted to modernize the empire and was more concerned with placating the foreign invaders while endlessly heaping more taxation onto the Han majority to pay for the reparations of the lost wars.

Han nationalists in China dream of a Neo-Han empire that stops cucking out to the likes of Philippines, Japan and the US, but immediately begin to mass produce nukes and bunkers so that a giant nuclear armageddon can be unleashed to clean off the world from anyone who isnt Han. They are totally ok with only a couple millions of themselves surviving in bunkers when it means all of you die in nuclear fire.

Just as right wingers in Japan claim that politicians they dislike are Zainichi Koreans, Han nationalists in China believe that the Manchu people are secretly controlling the Communist Party from behind the scenes and still colonizing China.

For a long time, the authorities' logic regarding nationalist sentiment has been similar to that of a battery. It is a manageable energy that is normally plugged into the engine of national development to provide momentum for great power competition. Under this logic, patriotic enthusiasm is certainly better the higher it runs, provided that it remains controllable.

However, when the authorities realized that Han nationalism was no longer a stable battery and instead posed a risk of explosion by no longer channeling its energy through officially designated paths and beginning to indiscriminately dismantle all surrounding structures, including core concepts of official governance, they adopted a stance of rejection.
The official rejection of Han nationalism is by no means simple dislike, nor is it a short term regulation by the Cyberspace Administration of China. It stems from two fundamental structural contradictions: the impact on the legal legitimacy of the national territory, and the undermining of governance logic and legitimacy.

>The 1644 View of History is Legal Suicide

The core spiritual totem of the Han nationalist community is the 1644 View of History, which posits that the transition from the Ming to the Qing Dynasty was not a simple change of dynasties, but rather a fracture of civilization and the beginning of colonization. This may sound like a purely academic historical debate, but in the political calculations of Zhongnanhai, it is a dangerous narrative that attempts to legally dismember the modern Chinese territory.

The territorial legitimacy claims of modern China are largely built upon the foundation of inheriting the Qing Dynasty. It is precisely by inheriting the vast and complex territorial legacy of the Qing Dynasty that modern China possesses irrefutable sovereign legitimacy over border regions such as the Northeast, Xinjiang, Tibet, and Mongolia, and even Taiwan. In the official narrative, the Qing Dynasty must be a legitimate Chinese dynasty, and Kangxi and Qianlong must be wise Chinese emperors so that the historical integrity of the territory can be maintained.

If the Qing Dynasty is illegitimate, then the territorial legacy it brought is also illegitimate wealth. If the Qing Dynasty is denied in pursuit of the purity of Han bloodlines, the logical conclusion is the automatic abandonment of legal sovereignty over vast border regions, not to mention that the southern faction of Han nationalists itself carries separatist characteristics. Therefore, to protect the legal integrity of the territory, the 1644 View of History must become a taboo.
