Wouldn't it be better to simply regulate government even more so there's no way a possible influence from a particular foreign entity or any other type of lobbyist could leash in our senators, legislators, presidents, judges, etc. The question is how would you democratically go about this? For me, I think it's through Article V of the Constitution which bypasses Congress and allows the states to vote on a common amendment.
