What are the political implications of tech companies asking for 10+ years of work experience with Claude Code?

>polymorphic orthogonality

It's very obviously an H1B listing. They make the requirements impossible to meet on purpose, so they can justify hiring foreign workers. They know exactly what they're doing here, don't be fooled into thinking this is incompetence

This position was outsourced to an Indian recruitment firm. The jamboy they will eventually hire will have to pay them a kickback from his salary.

They’re not loyal to their own for free, it pays a lot.

It's both incompetence and an H1B listing. It only came out last year. If they asked for 2+ years of experience it's possible an Anthropic employee could have experience with it. That's the competent way to remove 100% of the applicant pool without drawing any attention.

>Claude Code is an agentic command line tool released in February 2025 that enables developers to delegate coding tasks directly from their terminal using natural language prompts. While initially released for preview testing

One of the few good policies Trump tried to make was reworking H1B to make it harder for Indians and co to abuse. But of course they've work arounds for that as well.
>>
>>538007713
But Claude Code isn't even 4 years old as a software, how are you going to get 10 years experience with it?

it's not always h1b, sometimes it's retards in hr
seniors probably have to have 10 years in whatever language or system they're going to work on and the hiring manager specified claude
she doesn't know when it came out

I think it meant these guys are hiring people who coded for Claude.

thats the thing, indians are shameless enough to provide the fake documentation about using it for 10 and they get a exceptional skill visa on rush mode and the company gets to pay less
>>
>>538007796
A company I worked for would let positions leave or retire and put up on competitive wages for their replacement. It was all a scam to say "aw shucks, we cant get candidates" and they'd outsource ot India. This is a local health system continously putting its residents out of a job.
>>
>>538007796
An H1Bs gonna cost them $100K, minumum. Nobody's paying that, for a jeet.
>>
>>538008489
that got repealed.

This , India is running fake resume mills. They can fake any resume and experience for $20.
>>
At one point I knew people who worked and hired for one of those Big Data companies.
They literally had job listings on major jobs sites, and couldn't find anyone.
The only job applications they got - a few hundred a year. And I saw those .
Were Keyword Stuffed fake resumes from India.
Literally KEYWORD STUFFED , fake resumes.

I helped him find a guy who used to work for a search engine , i.e. even larger big data.
The guys said, they need A, B, C and D, and I don't have D.
I had to convince him that his SE experience would do.

They received. Literally hundreds of fake KEYWORD stuffed resumes.
