Three US Forestry Service wildland firefighters died on the Utah-Colorado border today. This is the biggest single loss of life event since the Yarnell Fire in 2013.

Trump cut the budget of the Forestry service as soon as he got into office and is trying to reduce it by 65% in 2027. 16% of their workforce was laid off.

Nigger that pic is of the los padre shots on the cottonwood fire, not even the same one the firefighters died on. Also funding has nothing to do with it. This situation happened due to the insane winds on these fires. I was on the cottonwood fire 2 days ago, on RR now and heading back on Thursday. The winds are insane in Utah

And yet they still took the time to stop fighting the fire and did a 100 firetruck parade for their bodies.

It's a tragedy I hope their families can accept it, but forest service douchebags are public school teacher tier in their delusions of how important their jobs are to society.
