Before the strikes on Iran, I watched the U.S. force Venezuela to back down in just three hours and thought, "Damn, America really is an unmatched superpower."Then I saw them struggle to even reopen a single strait, and that illusion shattered almost instantly. Now they're reportedly asking for negotiations, and seeing them publicly clash with their own closest ally, Israel, over Iran just makes the U.S. look kind of pathetic to me.Am I the only one who feels this way?
Yes. The problem is Trump doesn't want to put boots on the ground. So hes hoping to just bomb them into submission. The used rolled through Afghanistan and Iraq it took about 2 years each, but we did it without conquering. If America wasnt trying to just be world police wes bomb the shit out of the area, send in the army, wipe out all resistance, build a few McDonald's and Mobile Gas Stations, and called it Little America and the Freedom Straight. Be thankful we are not Russia.
>>538029863Venezuela was, one, a goad to attack Iran, two, a stimulus for the US to willingly go into isolationism mode when GAE is over
>>538029863The Israeli breakup comes at a price. We may lose face but we will be better off without the parasite, in the long run.
