Thanks to the USMCA, products manufactured in Mexico enjoy duty free benefits when entering the United States. Consequently, American companies are shifting their production bases en masse from Asia and China to Mexico, a geographically close and secure neighboring country. Thanks to this shift, Mexico entered the top 10 list by recording a high growth rate of 17.9% year on year with $175.6 billion in export volume for the first quarter of 2026, up from 10th place in the first quarter of the previous year. If this trend continues, Mexico will soon overtake Japan as well.
