AC solves two major issues in the UK perfectly:1) Heat2) Humidity/MoldWhy do they resist it? It has been fully embraced by the third world. For a country that loves importing third world people and cultures they apparently draw the line at AC technology.
>>538052282The yookay already has the highest energy costs in the developed world. Mass AC adoption would actually bankrupt them.

>>538052282Heat is not a major issue for us at all.>Muh deathsAll boomers. However, you did raise a very legitimate point which is the moisture levels. I just run a PIV system personally but otherwise a couple of dehumidifiers will sort out a standard home in the UK. AC is much more expensive in upfront and running costs. Our younger generations might get into it though because they're a bit like the average American and happily become debt slaves. I'm actually getting AC for my outdoor office but I'm getting a small unit and have a lot more capital than the average Brit.
