They didn't remove the problem.

In fact they kept importing more of the problems.

Turns out giving more power to incompetent idiots from the ruling caste doesn't end well.

They still haven't fully embraced the reality of the UK being a poor island with rich capital, that's reliant on services like banking.

>vote to leave the EU because of sky-high immigration, and the inability of a nation state to restrict it
>leave vote wins
>ruling class punishes the electorate with sky-high immigration x10 from brownoid countries instead
see:
>>538056642

Instead of restoring trust with the electorate by acknowledging the result and creating a parliamentary consensus, the secretariat doubled down and started a fucking bonfire instead.

Because politicians freaked out and implemented policies to obtain the same goal as the EU, but at extreme levels.

Getting out of the EU gives a country the freedom to choose their own path.
And getting out was a vote by the people.
Everything happening after that is handled by elected officials, but they are not just elected. Oh no. It has to be a whole system in place to make sure that doesn’t happen.

Take Norway as an example.
You have a very narrow list of parties.
Almost all of them are extreme left, while those few on the right are in reality the middle.
Then within those parties, there are policies all over the place, so you have to vote for something you are absolutely against as the lesser evil (but no guarantee what they will actually focus on )
Then, there are biggest party gets like 20% votes.
And then they form a government with other unpopular parties until they have over 50% of the votes.
So shitty parties with 4% will have more power than a party with 19% that is too right wing for the 20% «winner».
Then the fun begins.
The low % parties will make extreme demands to blackmail the rest of the group, and all the other parties will do the same. Without them, they can’t force any policies.
So suddenly, we have to do extreme leftist shit because of a party that 4% voted for.

I don’t know how it is in Britain, but I’m pretty sure they do all sorts of acrobatics to avoid people actually having any sort of power with their votes.

In Britain we are aware that it's all a pantomime.
