Police were called to the Auenheimer Schwimmbad (outdoor swimming pool) in Kehl-Auenheim today. According to initial findings, during the afternoon around 50 to 60 men from France repeatedly tried to enter the pool by climbing over the outer fence without paying.They had several verbal confrontations with security staff. The group then showed their displeasure by emptying some trash bins, ignored the pool rules, and refused to follow the security staff’s instructions.Security repeatedly warned them about house rules and asked them to leave. Police units from Kehl and Achern, plus federal police, were called in and completely evacuated and closed the pool.
