>all companies agree to layoff to suppress wages
>flood market with desperate peasants that are crying and seething to pay their stupid rent and feed their stupid fucking families
>rehire them cheaper as contractors
>wages suppressed
workers are such ungrateful fucks I swear.

The engineers purposefully train people wrong to keep their positions safe for life. Nobody knows what to do when the equipment breaks because only the knowledge hoarding faggots have experience dealing with it.

This has happened before at car companies and they typically pay $1000/day for former employees to come back and fix shit. When they do come back they're instructed to tell the engineers still on staff how to fix the problem and make work instruction documents and they still teach the engineers wrong on purpose and take so long to write the work instruction documents (which are still vague and lacking critical information) that the companies can't absorb the knowledge as institutional knowledge. The cycle continues forever.

Which Jew side are you on? I guess I'm on the employee side.

All these engineers are indian btw
>>

Proof?
>>
>>538069439
They realized they fired them before extracting all the data with latest tech. They'll monitor everything about them. They only need to do it once, they just copy-paste it in the future.

>extracting all the data with latest tech. They'll monitor everything about them. They only need to do it once, they just copy-paste it in the future.
yep, IRL workers get bodycams so that their shit can get trained on so that humanoid robots can do them better.

Wowwee, 300!? Gee whiz, the US manufacturing really is coming back!

I hope these goy idiots demanding rehire bonus and 2-3x increase in salary
>>

Why is the fucking gambling app banned here reporting on news?
>>
>>538069439
you cant make this shit up... did they used chatgpt to design cars? is this some shitpost?
>>
>>538070613
veteran engineer means 60+ year old white boomer.
>>
>>538072225
context size is everything. when given a demo AI appears to be great but when you use it for more than couple of days in same session it starts to make up shit and sound like a retard approving everything
>>
>>538069439
Well it's not a bad idea to fire in mass and then rehire only the essential personnel at a lower cost with less benefits. Thousands were fired before and only a few hundred can come back, so it's already a huge cost saving exercise
>>
>>538070613
No one has ever described jeets as "veteran" anything in any way in any context. Just trying to process marriage of these two terms returns a 404
>>
>>538072912
>context size is everything.
Context size without a good attention mechanism is suicide for any language model.
>>
>>538069439
This shit is going to happen everywhere, the AI hype is a bubble waiting to pop. Its great for things like healthcare in helping doctors etc....
But thinking AI will completely replace humans is leftwing paranoia.
>>
I've never seen anyone getting rehired
>>
>>538070481
They do this to young/in-experienced engineers as well. No one wants to teach you shit, your on your own from day 1 of employment.
>>
>>538072225
I wonder in what capacity they tried to use it in; knowing the US - probably nearly everything. Mazda apparently has used AI for quite a few years for their new engine but I don't think they downsized at all they just used it to speed up simulations/projections of a lot of small iterative possible changes to the piston shape for their unusual combustion.
Ford probably went wild with having AI throwing baloney at the walls in CAD trying to come up with ways to save a couple shekels here and there kek
Wouldn't doubt it if Ford/GM had most of their non-trucks just nearly totally designed by the Chinese. They're the ones making all the tooling and most of the components anyway, and then they just assemble them over here or Mexico.
>>
>abused wife returns to her beating husband
how stupid are these retards, they’re gonna get fired immediately if the company feels like it
>>
>>538069763
Yep, this is pretty much the plan. This is why this anti-AI campaign is a psyop for the corpos to take over AI and supress local computing while making the working class poorer in the result.
>>
Why don't the jannies ever do anything about the 1pbtid spam? I see the catalog full of spam, I close the tab and go to another site.
>>
>>538069439
What a bunch of fucking losers. Imagine being fucking fired and then accept coming back later on.. absolutely pathetic. Those fucks have zero self respect. And honestly, can you truly trust your boss, if he fires you and replaces you with a robot? Even if he begs you to come back, how do you know he won't try and replace you again at a later date, when the robots work better? You just can't trust someone like that, you just can't..
>>
>>538069439
Boy oh boy, imagine the pikachu face on tech-optimistic boomers when 2–3trillion USD over this past decade decade, with about 1.5–2trillion already committed or spent and the rest in near‑term pipelines all come crashing down when this bubble pops.
This has the potential to annihilate the global economy as we know it. The entire US economy is entirely dependent on this pipe-dream.
>>
>>538076654
>>538077543
This. They should just start their own Ford company, based on his original principles. They would hold the power. Maybe Unions aren't such a bad thing?
>>
>>538069439
Seriously, AI coding fucking sucks after just demo projects.
>>
>>538069439
they are not the same engineers though
Whites got fired and they hired browns
>>
>>538069439
i hope the rehires demanded a big wage increase
>>
>>538072246
no it means anyone with experience.
>t actually was a senior technical consultant for Ford along side other fortune 500's
the amount of browns was insane, i was 1 of 3 other Whites in a sea of shit colored people
>>
>>538070481
Boomers, jews, bad news
>>
>>538080200
More than likely, they were happy to have muh job back for half the pay.
>>
>>538070613
They discovered the electricity bill running the ai cost more than hiring jeets
>>
>>538070481
In a system where both parties are being gay and jewish, the blame falls on the party with power. Engineers wouldnt be sabatoging their replacements if they didnt have good reason to believe not sabatoging their replacements would leave them vulnerable to being undercut and fucked by their employers.
>>
>>538070613
This, and anyone who thinks otherwise is deluded. The right AI prompted well (as in, by an actual engineer that knows what to expect) can outperform a human by a bit, but it can outperform a jeet by lightyears. The story is (if true; Polymarket are known for just tweeting random shit) is 100% jeet managers or executive getting more of their fellow poo-based lifeforms into America.
