For a period of three weeks starting on August 7th, 1994, a mysterious rain fell over Oakville, Washington, United States. What fell however wasn't rain, but a series of translucent white gelatinous blobs (like picrel). Within days people were filling up the local hospital with flu-like symptoms, many after coming into contact with or handling the blobs. Citizens reported seeing a lot of black military aircraft in the days before the blobs started falling.A local citizen brought in a sample of the blobs to the hospital for examination. The lab technician examining it confirmed he saw bacteria-like structures inside and sent the samples off to the State laboratory where there was more advanced equipment. Subsequent analysis from the State lab determined they contained animal cells.
