Why is Chinese propaganda always like this? Are they just delusional or is it a CCP directive?

Seriously, no one is gonna build mission critical software on Chinese models because they're open sores or because it's cheaper. This ain't Walmart, the consumers are more critical. Nobody swapped out their Google Pixels or Samsungs for Xiaomi either.

Is it just a feeling of inferiority that drives these crazy claims?

all AI models should be ditched altogether and humanity should pick a different branch of technology to focus on

It's been the same playbook for decades: China is winning, the West is collapsing.

Investors don't care about that because it's too far out. AI is booming now, and thanks to AI it's easier than ever to crap out incomplete products that fool other investors into pouring their money into your scam company and make you rich.

Many people did switch over though. Unless you think every coutnry has extremely limited Android options. NA has pretty limited ones but outside of NA you have so much more.

I've read a policy paper saying China is likely to overtake the U.S. in the A.I. race simply due to China having a political system that can actually build new power plants at the massive scale needed to power the A.I. workload whereas the U.S. probably can't.

>inb4 solar - A.I. datacenters still need to go full blast at night and grid-level power storage tech is not ready for storing the amount of energy needed and won't be for a long time
>>

Tbh China is always on the verge of collapsing in Western media

Only in China and Chinese diaspora.

Not because of AI.

It's gonna blow up bad and it'a gonna swt back LLM and every other type of AI by years. Hell the current shitshow already gimoed actual consumer progress because these companies want to force AI as a service.

I distinctly remember the whole anti-Huawei shit happening right after the news leaked out that Verizon and T-Mobile US were both negotiating with Huawei to have Huawei phones in U.S. stores. Huawei retreated back to their home market because of the U.S.-led anti-Huawei efforts, but Xiaomi and Vivo are selling okay in Europe.

A.I. is always going to be faster on a computer that has 20 GPUs and gorlllion terabytes of RAM. Normies aren't waiting 10 seconds for each word to generate on a local machine because "muh privacy."

Having a personal AI model to use for yourself and feeding it material and code that you handpicked is such a masive benefit. The vast majority of consumers propping in 3 word prompts don't need entire data centers.

i'm actually trusting Pixels less and less now that i know Google is in bed with Israel
>>
>>538082309
Pixel's fucked because Google decided to use its own smartphone processor chip, trailed the same generation Qualcomm and Samsung chips in performance by >30%, and now Google's leadership is bored with it and depriving the chip division the resources needed to close the gap.

I wouldn't be surprised Google nukes the Pixel product line to get HBM shipment from Samsung faster for their TPU A.I. server farm.

>is it a CCP directive
It's this
Chinese people cannot ever downplay themselves or have any opinion below "we're the greatest" because the state will abduct their family and harvest their organs. The state is VERY thin skinned and must be praised at all times. It's a significant weakness in their propaganda compared to other nations who are perfectly happy to attack themselves if it serves a greater purpose.

Remember this next time you see a Chinaman bragging: he has to do this or his family will die.

China's rise to number one world ultra-power upsets many in the west, but its monopoly over drone technology and advancements in space travel, quantum computing, and AI all herald the end of the western century.

Most of the basic components in American cars are made in china, shipped overseas, and slapped together by wetbacks and meth heads.

Chinese space capacity is still well behind what SpaceX or even Blue Origin can do. They literally just got their first reusable rocket which has only half the payload of Falcon Heavy.
>>
>>538082301
Chinese smartphones are very popular here.
It's an US only issue
>>
>>538082573
To be fair only SpaceX has demonstrated reliable reusability and sustained payload delivery. Blue Origin had a single success but had pretty significant setbacks since.

Why not?
Several of my friends have Huaweis because they're cheap.
Chinese cars are coming to the west as we speak.
What advantage is there to using amerimutt models?
Oh, there is none?
As a matter of fact, it leaves your data more at risk, vs the Chinese open source version?
Face it, "the land of the free" is now more less free than a "communist" dictatorship, lmao.

>>538082288
Sorry, but reality shows that Chinese AI gets mass adopted by western corps while Sam Altman still can't have positive ROI which is why he wants bailout
