"Cool Japan" no more.
This happens when modern anime sucks and their games are also getting ever more garbage.
Eventually the economic reality catches up with you and people begin to see your island as the resource scarce and overrated place it is, populated by increasingly poor, nosy and fake polite people.

They can fix this by making more wish fulfilment isekai harem gooner bait about underage girls in a school setting while making the animation worse.

I saw japanese police guide some baby ducks to the nearby stream yesterday on tv, and that was pretty cool

Japan is not cool. Only Jav addicts like it.

This thread smells of curry, just look at the posters.

Hello boomer

I like the cute japanese weather girls that I learned about on /fit/

Therefore I hope that japan has fruitful outcomes in the future

Yeah, sure. There's no jujutsu kaiser, or demon slayer, or freiren, none of those very popular anime exist. Capcom doesn't exist either. Cool Japan is still a thing. Sure they could be doing better if they didn't underestimate themselves so much, but this is slander "news" with some sort of agenda.

Doesnt get cooler than that.

No amount of ruski seething or chink propaganda will make me abandon Japan (or Italy)

I'm literally a weeb who moved to Japan and my attitude towards Cool Japan is a vague awareness it existed. I'm not sure how good a job it was doing.
From a quick wikipedia check, they did invest in Sentai Filmworks (thank you, probably watched something from them) but most I get the sense that most Japanophilia abroad had little to nothing to do with their involvement.
