I've worked 16 years in the transportation department as a signal technician and tunnel operator. I've worked the shittiest hours and the shittiest jobs but I made enough money for myself to not work anymore all because of the HR merry-go-round. I've seen a lot of good guys get fired over bullshit, I've seen AI replace people seemingly overnight, and I've seen higher ups get off Scott free with fraud while the workers get penalized. This is exactly why I'm a NEET and why I advocate for others to be NEETs as well. It's not about if I can wake up at 4:30am, it's about why should I wake up at 4:30am if all I do is get screwed everyday for it. HR is the problem, the lack of resources distributed to the middle class is the problem. Not the workers.
