>>538088922Star Wars is a much more nuanced piece of mythology once you realize the Force (Karma, the Tao, the Logos, etc.) is totally amoral and that Anakin killing the Jedi and plunging the galaxy into darkness is explicitly what he was supposed to do as the chosen one, it wasn't like a temporary misstep or something. Both the Jedi and the Sith had to be destroyed, and it wouldn't have happened if he didn't turn to the dark side.
