I lived in South Korea for 7 years in a ritz area of Busan on an expat Engineers salary. 300-400k USD with every accommodation provided. We made fun of these ESL teacher losers that came over and lived in squalor apartments and made 2M won a month. Asian women are unbelievably hypergamous. Not particularly great in bed and there’s always a weird sort of culture block there. Asians in general are quite racist and would always ask what visa I was on so they could attempt to feel superior to me. When they learned I wasn’t some ESL loser they’d lighten up a bit. 6/10. Would go back but would never uproot and live there.
