How would one begin a dialogue about peace with another who fervently believes that martyring themselves or killing is the way to God? What is the entry point where an alignment can begin?

This Islamic State has nothing to do with Islam by the way, the same way the Crusades has nothing to do with Christianity. Islam and Christianity are about Love (God), not about harming your brothers. Any different interpretation from that is a misinterpretation of the Sacred Scriptures.
