>/pol/ sees absolutely nothing wrong with billionaires doing thisFuck you guys
Well if they cashed out their billions in shares and used it for charity, companies would collapse and that would lead to job losses and a bigger tragedy.
I can think of some really effective ways to curb pollution globally but I think my methods are too extreme
The world had always had shitbag and always will. It's the job of the good to keep them in check and we're failing. Also, if you're over consuming and buying shit you don't need STFU because you're the one who gave them their wealth.
If society breaks down the people guarding those billionaires in their bunkers will just shoot them and take over the bunker.
>>538102067That's assuming their security isn't entirely AI automatons at that point
You think people with zero inside voice care about this? They would rather watch ai slop and doomscroll
>>538101836wrong musk is planning to make space colonies so he deports everyone under the "earth needs to heal" Musk and the government will then only allow rich and powerful to earth, and select few migrants from the colony so earth doesn't look 100% empty.
>>538101836it's almost like "climate crisis" is fake as shit and the billinoaaires knwo it
Climate change is real and money is not /Thread
>>538102123>the genius AI scientists running automatons turn on billionaire managers.>they get discarded and harvested for replacement organs.>scientists start to rebuild civilization after purge.
>>538101836Wait, I thought YOU were /pol/.
>>538101836.>/pol/ sees absolutely nothing wrong with billionaires doing thisbased. The World even has a turbo chud trillionaire. Imagine that!
>>538101836Those dang billionaires!Let's reform our entire society around this crazy set of terrible rules to get back at em.
>>538101836The planet cannot sustain the current population at first world living standards. No country's people will voluntarily remain at third world living standards now that mass media has made them aware that first world living standards exist. Progress toward first world living standards is the political metric in all of these countries. Nothing the first world does can stop the growing pollution ans other problems caused by the third world striving for first world living standards short of suppressing these efforts by force. That is well beyond the capabilities of a few billionaires and will never happen because nobody is willing to do it even if that means the end of the world as we know it.
>>538101836After today's SCOTUS ruling, I'm totally understanding of billionaires who offshore and hide their wealth. There's no reason to be loyal to America, it's just an economic zone.
>>538101836>Nigger>Has an opinionDiscarded
>>538101836>thinks money can solve the climate crisisKekMore money has been thrown at fixing the climate crisis than the net worth of any single individual. The only personal wealth even close is the Saudi wealth and maybe the Rothschild's or Rockefeller wealth if you believe that theybare still holding trillions in hidden assets. But the reality is that no amount of wealth can solve the climate crisis. Pollution is an inescapable fact of modern economy. If you're think something along the lines of >let's just invest trillions in renewable energythen you have failed to conceptualise the issue.Instead ask yourself why a developing nation like India or China or all of South East Asia would choose a more expensive form of energy? Do you think the combined wealth of all the billionaires in the world could afford to subsidies the energy costs of the entire Asian economy indefinitely into the future? We're talking over half a trillion USD a year that is currently spent on fossil fuels in this region.
>>538101961>reeee but we can take a trillion from elon and fund medicare for 10 months!!!!!they actually think billionaires have billions of dollars in their bank accounts.they dont understand what you said anon.
>>5381029351. There is no "climate crisis". There's environmental degradation.2. Environmental degradation is caused by overpopulation. 3. No one is going to tell the third world to stop having babies, therefore you will endlessly have (1). 4. The world will become a vast trash pit because the alternative was to be mean.
>>538101836>I'm constantly astonished that big city shitters would rather ignore the climate crisis and prepare to live like bugs with netflix and doordash than devote a modicum of their massive population to saving the planet by culling their numbers for the fresh fruit and soft grass and blue skies
>>538101836If it was so bad, why are these billionaires still making public rounds?Wouldn't politicians in the West and around the world be freaking out?
I'm just glad all the deniers have to shut their stupid mouths, not that they'll have the grace to be ashamed
