Tying an ID to every post means a controversial or misunderstood statement follows your real name forever. Free speech exists specifically to protect unpopular or dissenting opinions if people must show an ID to criticize powerful corporations or politicians the right to dissent becomes too dangerous for the average person to use. Forcing a "digital passport" on people will turn a fundamental human right into something you must request permission from the state or a corporation to use
