People worked hard to buy their homes. Why would you want to devalue that? Americans should be allowed to retire.

>tfw you hire real estate mogul as president of a country.
>>
>>538106366
At least he's honest that Republicans want you to own nothing and be miserable.
>>
>>538106366
Property taxes need to go up to force the poor out of their family homes and into the workforce. Trump is right that we need a way to legally evict these parasites.

Makes you wonder how he could have possibly tanked a casino. It was probably Biden. Or the media. Activist gamblers.

I'm 40, bought mine 2018. Going to keep mine too and rent it out while I live in another country. I can make at least $2500/month off it.
>>
/pol/, do I sell or rent? 2200sqft .33 acres in major TX metro. Owe 250k @ 2.25%, zestymint @ ~345k. Kinda sounds like this nigger might crash the market on me...
>>
>>538106366
I voted for this

>Americans should be allowed to retire.
I know this is bait but:
>House is worth a lot on paper
>Still need to live somwhere
>If you sell home you need somewhere else to live
Home value going up doesn't actually benefit the homeowner in any real sense.
All it does is get you on the ladder and allow foe a lateral move.
Which is certainly significant.
But then there's the (((reverse mortgage))).
>Okay goyim, we'll pay for everything you do for the last decade of your life if you turn over all your generational wealth.
>>
>>538108122
>$2500/month (profit)
After the mortgage? What's their rent?!?!
>>
>>538108233
Is it on a variable rate or are you locked in at 2.25%? If you are locked in keep it and rent it out.
Housing is not crashing any time now as the market will remain manipulated.
>>
>>538106626
You mean the workforce that is refusing to hire anyone? That workforce?

>>538106691
This. It's not news whatsoever!
>>
>>538108300
hes flagged as a canuck so his house probably doubled and hes charging market rate on the rent even though his loan was less. this is why no one likes landlords
>>
>>538108288
Sounds like you're saying there's value in having somewhere to live, besides the monetary one...
Bit antisemitic of you, anon. I worry you might start suggesting houses aren't supposed to be investment vehicles, but instead places for people to live... because that's almost a little communist, to some folks.
>>
>>538107428
>pay higher property taxes and unrealized gains taxes
fucking based.
kill all speculators
>>
>>538108300
Its paid off now. If it seems high its cause these are maple buck prices. Even single bedroom apartments go for $1800 here on average.
>>
Yeah this is one of my favorites, up there with “I don’t think about Americans’ financial situation” and “affordability is a hoax started by Democrats.” You gotta love a populist!
>>
>>538108410
Yes I hate jews how did u know?
>>
>>538108378
Yeah I bought at $220,000 and now its valued at $800,000. I was strategic about it too because the area wasnt developed at the time I bought; but now its basically the new "Suburbs" of Ottawa. So all the rich white people running from the crime and diversity in the center of the city are buying or renting here.
>>
>>538108378
Alright, well yeah we can chat too. Do you own a home? I have found that, considering renting mine and being able to offer lower than market rent, it's not much lower when it's all said and done. Market for mine is around $2200-$2500/month. My mortgage is $2100/mo. My value has increased almost 100k, or ~70% in 5 years. My property taxes have doubled and I did too. I renegotiated insurance a bit lower, but that market is ultimately one I (and therefore my renter) have to just pick from. So, after $2100 for the mortgage, being principal, interest, taxes and insurance, I have MORE costs with a renter. I'm obligated to maintain the house in a certain condition for you that I'm not for myself, so I need cash on hand to repair things or maintain that satisfactory condition. I also will have a property manager and payment portal to make communication and payment easier for you, to facilitate that quick response. I'll likely pay for groundskeeping, so that you don't need to purchase equipment. These things the renter WILL demand must be paid for somehow, and wouldn't need to be if the homeowner was the primary occupant. I'm a special case, like I said, in that I'm property tax exempt. Even then, I can offer rent around the middle market range (for the more expensive property on the block) at best b

I can tell when there's something good in someone, yeah. Keep it up.
>>
>>538108443
No, I understand the canuck buck price thing, but it being paid off (at that appreciation percentage) makes sense. You sound blessed anon, good for you.
>>
>>538106459
Amerishits barely did anything to protest hoaxvid lockdowns
What makes you think they would do shit about this?
