Ok whats the sleep tech everyone's using. after taking certain pharmaceutical depression meds and other's which im off now for 8 months. it messed up my sleep badly and i have insomnia now. i always wake up multiple times during the night and only sleep 2 hours at most it feels. i know a healthy diet is important but i used to be able to sleep even with a bad diet.

i did research and took certain peptides which did help but only for the moment. i took supplements like magnesium and i took cannabis oil. the oil helps with sleep and good anti-inflammatory also. it helps but leaves me groggy the next day. if anyone got any compounds that can help fix or repair this that would be good. i just wanna sleep normal without getting an addiction to something strong or without heavy side-effects. i know the basics like exercise, sun, healthy diet, etc. those are life changing and important. i will get to that at somepoint. but it feels the medication caused most of this over years of changing it. thank for listening.

The best sleep-monitoring product on the market is somehow Nintendo's Alarmo.
I can't help you with the sleep itself, except I recommend doing more cardio during the day.
But, the Alarmo can be used to objectively track how well you sleep, and from there you can figure out what works.
Nintendo announced the thing back in 2014 and spent a full decade developing it.

Decent quality magnesium (bisglycinate chelate, b-dihydrate, and citrate) 30 mins before beddy-byes, and if you take vit d (recommended) be sure to take it early in the day, never in the evening or night.

Anon, I know what you are going trough because i had the same. Lemme help you:

1. Don't use pills, melatonin, or whatever. Sleep doesn't work that way. You cannot improve your sleep with pills. What does work is eating a banana before sleep and/or warm milk (not hot). It does something with serotonin.
2. Stop focussing on sleep. You focussing on sleep is making you sleep less. Sleep is just a like a butterfly, if you try to catch it it goes away. Once you leave it alone, it will come to you.
3. You always sleep more than you think. I had extreme stress and burnout and had a polysomnography because I couldn't sleep anymore. Turned out I slept voer 6 hours even though I thought I slept only like 4. Especially that first sleep cycle is one your brain skips and makes you think it 1 am and you still havent slept.
4. Just accept it, and it will restore. Thinking about sleep or wanting to sleep gives a stress response which keeps you awake.
5. Obvisiouly a good sleep hygiene helps, and working out and eating healthy. No more caffeine, tea with theine, or chocolate.
Good luck nigger.

PS Don't worry, it will restore but it takes time. DON"T start using sleep medication, it will fuck you up big time.
