My town wants to install this shit. They'll charge me $35/quarter if I want to opt out. Any constitutional scholars out there know if this is even legal? It has remote shutoff and a "reduced flow" setting in case I say something anti-Semitic. Who the fuck would agree to this? How is this even a thing?
>>
How much cum do you need to drink that they need to install a smart meter for it?
>>
>>538113191
PAY IT.
I INSTALL ALLY METERS.
anyone can remotely shut off your water, or reduce the flow, and they break because the threads are fucking plastic, going into brass couplings that eat plastic threads.

pay it if it lets you avoid that shit.
if you stilll have an older meter (positive displacement) instead of that electro-magnetic measuring your pic related uses, you are already saving more than 35$ a quarter.

your bill will double if you get one of those.
>>
Remember Alex Jones in 2010 ranting about smart meters and 4G? Haha
>>
>>538113475
if they install one anyways go buy a powerful fishing magnet and run it in straight lines across the side a few times. that shit won't work anymore, they are like 425$ per meter- and they don't charge you unless they can prove tampering. just do a few neighbors too and they'll have no idea what happened.
>>
>>538113585
This is America dude. If the police investigate anything it's crimes against the state or business. In this case your targeting a business of the state, that means you're double fucked.

I'd say there is at least a 50% chance they ask neighbors for ring doorbell footage of the time when the meters went out (which they can probably tell quite easily) and see someone walking up with a magnet depending on the tree and the angles of the doorbell cameras.
If you're seen going to the side of every house that loses one and then leaving.....

And yes I know the neighbor would have to snitch but suburban types LOVE snitching on criminals. They do it for free.
>>
>>538113475
Thanks anon. I'm going to screencap your post and show my wife that I'm not just schizo, there's actually a real reason to opt out

It's a WATER meter anon. A water meter! They want the AI to be able to shut off people's water remotely, or reduce the flow of water if there's a drought or if I don't vote correctly of if my social credit score is too low, god knows, but it's just a disaster waiting to happen. Hackers/ransomeware? AI shit? Let alone political stuff. All because they don't want to pay a neckbearded white man to scan peoples meters like the old times?
>>
>>538113475
they did this in cali too
this anon is correct
plus they emit bad radiation
there are vids on youtube where engineers measure the signals coming out of them and it's not normal
>>
yeah they tried to pull this shit on me in cali, i just encased the meter itself in bicycle locks and told them theres no fucking way in hell they are allowed to remove it. they have fucked off for now.
>>

Always take the long way around and a different long way back, and never enter or exit via your front door. In minecraft, I mean. It makes it too easy for griefers to find your base otherwise. I would also highly discourage anybody modifying a pair of boots to contain powerful magnets in the hollowed out soles and go for a casual stroll now and then.

this, even with your phone all you need is like 1 layer of aluminum foil, wrap your phone in it and voila, makeshift Faraday cage you're now off the grid
>>
>>538113191
It's completely legal. Build your own town if you don't like it, white trash retard
>>
>>538114940
Or just do your own smart meter. The utility still isn't going to want to pay $400 to be constantly replacing your smart meter.

When I was a kid I was walking to a friend's house a few blocks from home and some random guy on his block starts screaming at me and saying he "knows it was me" while punching his windows out and bleeding all over his walls. He must have been melting down for a while because it was about a minute of this before the cops show up. Based on what an officer told me, he had well water with an external cutoff and somebody had been shutting it off randomly to fuck with him for weeks and he had slowly been building up to the boil over, I just happened to be walking by. I'd imagine he wound up committed, never saw him again, and it wasn't me doing it but I kinda see why somebody would hate the guy enough to fuck with him that way.

Buy a a series of large cisterns. Put them in your garage, basement or attic. Collect roof water and ensure a city hookup to slowly continuously fill. Fit with a whole house bypass. Now you’re a water chad.

Sorry, anon. You need a burner phone with a removable battery.

Foil doesn't work.

Apple in particular will still ping periodically while powered off if it has any, and I mean ANY juice left in it.

I actually knew a guy who saved for years to build a cabin on some land his family owned, he wanted to hunt and farm and essentially leave "the system" behind. A helicopter doing regular sweeps for people like him (yes, this is a thing) sent his location and had a squad come out and raid him. He owned the land, but his solar panels had to be wired into a power grid so a power company can sell the excess power they generated, same went for the water wheel he used to supplement them, they evidently were a threat to aquatic wildlife. He also had a rain collection setup which was apparently illegal because the water being collected could obviously not reach native plants that need it. His garden was both too close to the river despite him using only self-produced and fully organic compost, and they told him that regardless of location it was illegal because domesticated crops run the risk of becoming invasive and god forbid edible staple crops start growing wild on any scale.
Long story short, he had mental issues for years leading up to this and wound up ODing on one of his prescriptions shortly after they made him homeless because of his many "crimes".
>>
>>538118615
Sounds like a threat! To imagine anything you’ve said is true, kek. I must have hit a nerve.
>>
>>538119097
No nerve hit, just reminded me of an old friend and every bit of it is true. I don't expect anybody to trust a random on the internet, it's just something I like to bring up when this topic is mentioned. Guy was making just under 150k a year as an aeronautical engineer but had serious mental issues and wanted to leave it all behind, this is what happens to people who don't want to participate.
>>
>>538113191

>your bill will double if you get one of those.
mine did but it's mainly because the manual meter reader dude was lazy AF and just wrote down the same low number all year. I know because my house shutoff is in the little meter pit because I live in the shitty sunbelt and I've had to turn my water off and the meter was always totally covered with debris and unreadable and I never saw him uncover it.
>>
>>538119972
At least you know why your water bill is increasing every month. If you want to take control of your information and make sure it’s authentically sourced then that means something.

this
and don't forget to make a regular habit of leaving your phone sitting untouched for hours at a time so that a single long period without data being fed to your phone's accelerometer and gyroscope doesn't stand out and give interested parties a time frame to investigate

that or give your phone to your girlfriend or kid or tape it to your dog's side or some shit so it logs movement. that's even better.
>>
>>538113191
well what difference does it make if you opt out. you have your neighbor's meters, lte and 5g towers, overhead powerlines, and your own wifi router that emit emf

I opted out and pay the kike fee. Smart meters are a massive fire hazard and introduce lots of EMF to the side of your house which makes it's way inside. Police and also use it without a warrant to monitor your electricity usage.

>>538120751
This..Covid was an experiment to see how far they can go before the population snaps, it was more successful than they ever dreamed. Now all of them know that when (not if) the need arises for a total shutdown of normal life, they'd have little to no resistance.

You are not a blade runner Dekker bong.

The real OP move is to find out if there's anything in those meters worth stealing and let niggers do the work for you. Then the neighbors rat them out and the company is out thousands, has to suspend the program until they can find a nigger proof meter. If such a thing exists.

It's legal to collect rain water for personal consumption in all 50 states, even commiefornia.
In fact, California passed Rainwater Capture Act of 2012- permits are not required for basic rain barrel setups with larger systems even receiving rebates and subsidies. That law only codified specific permits and rebates, it was always legal before that.

Thats where his story fell apart.
>>
>>538124845
This is all law in CA, and the gardening laws are being pushed by the WEF on multiple Western nations on the grounds I've already stated. Search any point yourself if you're so sure of your bloomer view of the modern US, it is becoming increasingly illegal to be self sufficient.

"While state law permits these systems, property owners must still comply with local city or county ordinances, which may impose additional restrictions on tank size, placement, or aesthetic guidelines"
This is what you intentionally or ignorantly left out. They told him his setup was detrimental to protected plant species that were reliant on deep forest conditions to thrive. God, do I hate kikes like you. "It's legal, except when it isn't, so it's legal" just fuck off.

He wasn't in any city, learn to read. He was in land adjacent national park territory but owned by his family.for generations. Nobody typically builds a cabin by a river in the city and helicopters typically don't do flyovers for heat signatures looking for prepper-type activity on the corner of 5th and main, you fucking potato. Last I spoke to the guy, he left San Fransisco and was living with family near Washington state while construction progressed. I have no idea who exactly had jurisdiction, only what happened leading up to his death. Is sucking kike dick your favorite hobby, or are you just another 13 year old troll on summer break? Every law I cited is very much real and very much fucks people like him over.
