Most people die in winter. It's cold, it's bleak, and I want to end it. In summer it's sunny, everyone is outside, and I'd like to live a bit longer. It's well known. The problem is that the news reporting is skewed towards heat waves. The deaths are very newsworthy in summer, but are dwarfed by the ones in winter but you won't hear about them. t. Actuary

Drink water, get some AC, that's it and if you can't do that you die which means you're dumb. If drugged out and/or Mexicans doing roofing in the southeastern US can survive summers, Europeans should be able to as well.
