Self driving cars is one of the stupidest and most dangerous things you can have in your country. Think about it. Every single Tesla hooked up to the a central corporate network which they can receive updates from. We already know they have back end stuff like "Elon mode" which allows the car to drive without requiring someone's hands to be on the steering. Someone with stolen access and the means could push out a demolition derby mode and have them all activate at the same time. Before you say no one would ever do that remember the stuxnet and the pagers attack.If I was an AI I'd do the demolition derby mode thing for all the teslas.
