It is clear that a free and open internet is an exception not a rule among most countries. How effective will globohomos push towards locking it down be at worst? How effective is the great firewall for your average chink? Are 90% filtered from accessing the greater web? 99%? With recent developments such as the KIDS act and what is happening in bongland i am just trying to prepare for the worst. Is there any hope of technologies such as I2p or namecoin/tor mitigating this disaster?
