why does putin always leave belarus alone, yet invade, kill, and torment ukraine? i’ve heard that russians view belarus the same way they view ukraine as part of russia and as the same peopleis this purely about nato? if belarus were to attempt to join nato, would putin invade it just like he did ukraine?

Only in democracy is Ukraine ahead. Due to American and Soros funding Ukraine became anti-Russia. Ukraine wanted to be a little chihuahua at Russia so they got what they wanted but unfortunately for Russia they underestimated them. Just a big L for both countries (more so for Ukraine as more than half of it's male population is gone) while Belarus wins by doing nothing.
