>The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) hit hangars with fighter jets at the "Saki" military airfield in Crimea

>Carrying out the tasks set by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as part of a 40-day operation to influence Russia, the SBU successfully struck the "Saki" military airfield in temporarily occupied Crimea. The target of the operation was the airfield's infrastructure, including hangars with fighter jets.

>Five hits by SBU drones on hangars where aviation equipment was stored have been confirmed.

>According to preliminary information, there were Su-30 and Su-30SM fighter jets in two hangars at the time of the strike. After the attack, a fire was recorded in the hangar where the Su-30SM was located, indicating a successful hit on the target.

>The estimated cost of each such aircraft ranges from 30 to 50 million US dollars, depending on the configuration.

>The SBU is systematically destroying the military potential of Russian occupiers both on the frontline and in the enemy's rear. No hangars or storage facilities will help - the SBU will reach the enemy everywhere.

Actually the three days of negotiation between Lukashenko and Putin were about delivery of potatoes.
Belarus still has a working refinery, so it has fuel for its tractors and can pkant potatoes (well, unless by some mysterous drones, the pipleline to that refinery gets destroyed on the russian side).
Lukashenko explained that it's better for Putin to take the offer of potatoes, and not ask for participation in war.
Ukraine will allow the potatoes to grow (coordinates of growing areas are to be specified in an order by president of Ukraine), as long as no red lines are violated.

Masking Failure as a Temporary Nuisance: President Vladimir Putin recently made a rare public admission regarding the fuel shortages, but immediately downplayed them as a "temporary deficit" that is "not critical". Just like WWI commanders, state messaging frames a major systemic vulnerability as an inconvenient hitch that citizens can simply overcome with patience and adaptation

but it's enormously more expensive to wage the war against the ukraine in the first place for russia, than it is to fund ukraine to defend itself you moron.

russia has to: pay military, pay families for lost troops, pay engineers to develop drones, pay for everything, is sanctioned to the back teeth, has to try not to let its economy be damaged.

ukraine's economy is always basically wrecked to zero, it's just in survival mode. for the west, it just gives them money and equipment, and the ukrainians fight for survival. westerners are all helping them with intelligence that costs russia enormous amounts to obtain, is helping them with developing drones, etc etc.

USA basically spent as much as it has ever given to ukraine over the whole war, in a few weeks in iran. it's costing the west basically nothing. europe has started massively increasing military spending, since apparently it can afford to. it seems if anything there is even more support available for ukraine now, than at the start of its war.

it's time for failing putin to give up and go home.

First Principles:

1) "ukraine" is Russia's backyard. "ukraine" is effortlessly Russian.

2) To pretend ukraine isnt effortlessly Russian, we must run logistics HALF WAY ACROSS THE FUCKING WORLD.

3) ukraine is 100% reliant upon foreign aid.

from these alone, the war in ukraine is far cheaper for Russia to wage than it is for us.

Nature is on the side of Russia. We pay absurd amounts of money to go against nature.

If (when) monke announces general mobilisatsya and Penzas the whole of Russia, this march on Kyiv is a likely possibility. There are still a couple hundred T-62s in storage which could be used according to Covert Cabal. Also drone warfare has taken off since 2023 so having another go at Kyiv with battered old armour but girded by modern drone 'swarms' could be interesting.

>why bother supporting them either if you're an american?

you have had this explained to you more than once.

why do you continually need this question answered?

You asking this question always ended in an explanation of how supporting ukraine is contrary to your stated goals.

supporting ukraine is the pro-china position. you want to contain china by promoting things that benefits them.

When the pacific was continually gutted of materials to supply ukraine, you cheered.

So did china.

If Russia mobilizes, that means you get mobilized.

why do you all routinely have trouble grasping the basics?
>>
>>538150482
>first principles
>lists zero principles, just vibes

sure thing, here's your rundown since you asked so nicely

your "cheap war" theory is so good that Russia's own finance minister sent a panicked letter to the cabinet in February begging them to freeze $40 billion in non-military spending because, and I'm paraphrasing for your benefit, they're running out of money. the full-year budget deficit target got blown through in four months. not halfway through the year - four months. the growth forecast got slashed from 1.3% to 0.4% which is a fancy way of saying "stagnation." interest rates came down from 21% to a still-crippling 14.25% and Nabiullina is openly saying there's not much room left to cut because inflation won't cooperate. Rosneft's profit collapsed 73%. 74 regions running deficits simultaneously for the first time. 300 companies preparing to close. the central bank governor herself called it an unprecedented labor shortage - first in Russia's modern history. this is your cheap war lmao

>nature is on the side of Russia
"nature" has cost Russia 7.5% of GDP in military spending, roughly 1.4 million casualties, a birth rate at a 200-year low, and a cost-per-kilometer that TRIPLED year-on-year.

>parasitic war economies
you literally just described Russia kek. 40% of the federal budget eaten by defense and security. civilian investment frozen because nobody can afford a 14% interest rate. a third of companies operating at a loss. the 4.3% growth from 2023-2024 was fake demand from military spending, not actual productive capacity, and now the hangover hit. your finance minister is telling the government that reserves are finite and asking where the money comes from next. that IS the parasitic war economy. you're living in it.
>>
>>538150666
It isn't too late. Contract merc soldiers still fill the ranks in eastern Ukraine. There's a high death rate but those positions are still staffed. Getting a couple of million in the northern border spread across Belarus and Russia should be feasible albeit difficult. Ukraine would be well within their rights to launch preemptive strikes on Belarusian territory.
>>
>>538150734
East German poorfag who thinks trad russia will give him gas.
>>
>>538150601
Ok but have you considered the logistics? They are already having trouble with their current amount of troops. The first Kyiv attempt failed because they couldn't supply their own troops and this time it would be even worse since Ukraine can actually attack the 10km long traffic jams.

Thats exactly what happends but you are giving too much creds for Russia's military planning. Right now they are building big military camp near Finnish border, which everyone has propably seen the satellite photos. There are no soldiers in there yet, it's under construction. This simply shows that they have not adapted to this new model of war at all. I mean if shtf in our border it will literally take some minutes and we have destroyed that base, so that nothing but concrete dust remains. You simply can't use this type of military complexes anymore. Only in peace time and for training purposes. Since they are constructing this site right now, they may just as well be thinking of gatherin large mass of troops to Belarus.
