I got 28 solar panels on my roof, I dont drive long distances, gas is $10/gallon and EVs are 100% tax deductible here. Guess what I just bought a new petrol SUV anyway. Because if you factor in depreciation (the true N1 cost of car ownership) EVs still lose out, even in the most optimal situation.Imagine eating 80% depreciation in 36 months and thinking you won because you didn't have to pay for some gas.
