Can someone explain why the FUCK evangelical Christians are so enthralled with Israel and jews? It makes no sense at all. I remember when I was a little and I asked the Sunday school lady why we always sang songs about "children of Israel" and "chosen ones" and Hebrews and children of Abraham when we are Christians, not jews, She got pissed af. Went to Catholic elementary school, and it was about the same, just with an extra DLC with statues of Mary everywhere.
