Whelp, it actually happened.
The FSSPX (Society of Saint Pius X) - a conservative Catholic order - actually consecrated 4 new bishops without Papal mandate.
Some Catholic newspapers have already declared it a "schismatic" act, and an "immediate excommunication" of everyone in the order.

>a new protestant order was created
Wow. Anyway...
>>
>>538166585
On a Wednesday morning no less. How absolutely scandalous. How will the church cope with another schism? They're already up to... hang on, I'm going to have to break out the calculator.
>>
>>538166854
>protestant
Not really. They still claim to be part of the Catholic Church, to be in communion with the Bishop of Rome, and to hold true to all Ecumenical Councils.
Critics are claiming (and no doubt will the Pope and some of the Roman Curia as well) that, according to the Code of Canon Law, they've excommunicated themselves through their actions; however the SSPX will counterargument that, by saying that said Canon Laws permitted those actions under specific circumstances, and that the Pope isn't allowed to excommunicate them.
>>
>>538167776
So you're saying that their argument for them still being in communion with Rome is that they're allowed to reject papal authority? Kek
Sorry, sspx is a protestant order now.
>>
Can any of you Christcucks tell me what the dragon, which is locked away for a thousand years, refers to in the Book of Revelation? My guess and the only thing I see it refer to is race. The christians' vision is that we all become one race.

Presumably, the Antichrist would say the opposite of Jesus. For example, that gay people need to be executed. He would provide justification, that they're evil: Gays purposefully flooded the west with migrants to increase their power, and then they purposefully pushed vicious racism in Ukraine and instigated the war there on purpose (the US deepstate today is all gays). But what is the reason people don't want mass migrants? It's because of race.

The fact that the christians put this in the bible proves that they were a bunch of gays and they were aware of how subversive and evil gay people are. Just look at the troons in UHG.

Anyway, the ultimate conclusion is that the early christians were evil people. They were aware of how subversive and evil gay people are, fomenting vicious racism, et cet. And they still put it in the bible.

Christianity is ultimately evil. It's against my values to turn the world into one race just so gays can buttfuck eachother.

They're trans-papist, it's ok. The excommunication isn't real

>this is schismatic
But doing things like enacting major changes to the Catholic Church like the Second Vatican Council, and fast-tracking the process of canonizing saints from more than a century down to less than a decade is fine, apparently.
Some ground rules and catechisms are just meant to be ignored, I guess.
>>
>>538166585
maybe just excom the heretics in rome.
the vatican stopped being christian hundreds of years ago. granted pious x had some fine statements, but, pious ix was false, and john paul 2 through leo are out and out anti-christ in their public teachings, as per church history and the bible.
>>
>>538166585
There's nut jobs like this everywhere I moved and was looking for a new church. I found one nearby and they turned out to be some weird cult with 20 people and the "priest" claims to be in communion with the Catholic Church despite rejecting papal doctrine.
>>
>>538168519
That is what they're going to argue about.
The FSSPX will very likely concede fault, under duress and fear, and argue that excommunication is an invalid punishment.
>>
>>538169394
"penalty" would mean "excommunication*
>>
>>538169394
SSPX didn't violate Canon law under duress or fear, though. They did it out of shear pride and arrogance.

Papists in general are a bunch of faggots and pedos.
Being excommunicated from them at this point is a honour than a disgrace.
I blame the second vatican council and the liberation theology for all the faggotry inside the church.

>out of shear pride and arrogance
An accusation made by every protestant sect against the Catholic Church and also by Soviet Jews when they were encouraging the horde to rape Europe
>Ilya Ehrenburg -
>He saw the Great Patriotic War as a dramatic contest between good and evil. In his articles, moral and life-affirming Red Army soldiers faced off against a dehumanized German enemy. In 1943, Ehrenburg, working with the Jewish Anti-Fascist Committee, began to collect material for what would become The Black Book of Soviet Jewry, documenting The Holocaust. In a December 1944 article in Pravda, Ehrenburg declared that the Germans' greatest crime was the murder of six million Jews.

>His incendiary articles calling for vengeance against the German enemy won him a huge following among front-line Soviet soldiers, who sent him much fan mail. As a consequence, he is one of many Soviet writers, along with Konstantin Simonov and Alexey Surkov, [Jews] whom many have accused of "[lending] their literary talents to the hate campaign" against Germans. Austrian historian Arnold Suppan argued that Ehrenburg "agitated in the style of Nazi racist ideology", with statements such as:

>"""The Germans are not humans. […] From now on, the word German causes gunfire. We shall not speak. We shall kill. If during a day you have not killed a single German, you have wasted the day. […] If you do not kill the German, he will kill you. […] If it is quiet at your section of the front and you are waiting for the battle, kill a German before the battle. If you let the German live, he will kill a Russian man and rape a Russian woman. If you have killed a German, kill another one too. […] Kill the German, thus cries your homeland."""

What was the first thing EVERY SINGLE protestant sect did? They got rid of the Liturgy.
What was the second thing EVERY SINGLE protestant sect did? Start writing acres and acres of self-justifying pilpul.

Sound familiar?

Their society is also abbreviated to FSSPX, from the Latin: "Fraternitas Sacerdotalis Sancti Pii X"
>>538169572
>They did it out of shear pride and arrogance.
Again, that debatable. What they did is very similar with what occurred in 1988, which they argued a high necessity of consecrating 4 new bishops, out of the existing one (Lefebvre). And with only two remaining (now aged) bishops they've added 4 more, to an order that has almost 1500 priests, and an estimated 600 thousand people attending.

The eminence gris who seems to be pulling agitation strings against the SSPX - Fernandez - is the one who led a tour of Eastern Churches that recognize the Pope to try to persuade them to take a softer line on homosexuality. They sent him packing with a flee in his ear.

>The protagonist attacking on the SSPX - Víctor Manuel "Tucho" Fernández
I wonder how he got his nickname - 'Tucho' !

No information on his mother or ancestors. Very unusual for that to have been scrubbed.

>Fernandez's book Heal Me With Your Mouth: The Art of Kissing was published in 1995; it contains a theological analysis on the art of kissing. The book resurfaced in 2023 following Fernandez's appointment to the DDF; he defended it, denying that it contained heresy or heterodox teachings, but stated that he would not write it today and that its republishing had already been discontinued.

>In 1998 published in Mexico the book Mystical Passion: Spirituality and Sensuality that includes graphic descriptions of human sexual relations and discussion of what the Argentinian theologian describes as "mystical orgasm". It depicts in detail an imaginary erotic encounter with Jesus Christ on the shores of Galilee. The book's final section focuses on the human orgasm and its connection to divine intimacy. Fernández's description of "an experience of love, a passionate encounter with Jesus, that a sixteen-year-old-teenager [girl] told me about", is in the book's sixth chapter.[43] Fernandez later described the work as "a book of my youth that I certainly would not write now" and that "could be misinterpreted"

Fernandez gets schooled by the Coptic Orthodox Church on why, despite Fernandez' pleas, sodomites aren't going to getting any blessing.
This same Fernandez is the one throwing around charges of schism against Catholics for praying the Mass.

500 years your Babylonian Fuckwit Brethren have been trying to quash the Liturgy. Explain to me why.

>Víctor Manuel "Tucho" Fernández
In 'The Francis Project: Where He Wants to Take the Church', a book-length interview Fernandez gave to the journalist Paolo Rodari from the Italian daily La Repubblica, he describes the broad themes of Francis' papacy, the need to view moral issues in context rather than assert them as non-negotiable, to "set hearts on fire" rather than reiterate dated "philosophical or natural law-related" arguments. He said: "For example, it is no good opposing same-sex marriage because people tend to see us as a group of resentful, cruel, insensitive, over-the-top even, individuals.

Way I see it, the Catholic Church has burned too many bridges. Moderate liberal boomers will die off and there won't be anyone left. I'm a Polish diasporacuck and Francis couldn't even be bothered to visit our country when we had some saints canonised so why should I give a shit about SSPX? All power to them, you go, boys. Until Leo backtracks every restriction on the Latin mass and allows priests to offer it at their own discretion, he's just another shitlib to me.
