>>538172933How long until they remove digital games from your library because they want to? Its like consoles want to die.
I've switched to all digital a few years after Steam came out and it became usable. Never understood the fetish of having to put a disc into the drive before you can play a game. I rather just select it from a list and start it without having to get up.
>>538173451Because at any time and any reason they can take your digital items away and give you no refund or anything in return. So now the best thing is to just pirate everything and never give them another cent works well for me for years.
>>538172933It’s expensive to make and people are lazy and just down load the games Poor chaners are stuck in 2010 perpetually it seems
>>538173638Didn't Gabe say if Steam ever shut down he'd give everyone time to download and keep the games? Just put them on a portable hard drive. Modern console players are cucked though nothing can be done about that
>>538173792>qoey>goylol
>>538173813If he's alive when that comes. People have no clue the shitstorm and troubles we're in for when suits take over Valve after Gabe dies.
>>538172933Told you to play indie games but even indie games are pozzed now. You will chase popular things. Most anons went to X.com and they're happy with it. Counterculture was a scam. It's unironically time to no human rights haver maxxI don't actually have human rights so why should I be expected to act like one?
>>538173976>strawmanning to no one to justify being a nihilistic faggot
>>538172933I'm not buying your gaystation, gaybox and gaytendo
>>538172933You will "own" the game for the lifetime of each console, and after 5 years they kill the console.
>>538172933RIP sony
>>538172933I don't give a fuck anymore. Any good games will be on Steam and there's no physical copies.Owning a physical copy of a game made after the early 2010's isn't really that special because the physical copy still relies online services to work. You might as well collect old consoles and cartridges/discs that don't require internet, so basically xbox360 or earlier.
>>538173638I would have bought that argument 20 years ago when there was still the full game on disc. But today you get only part of the game, you need a day one patch to make it barely work and then another year of patches until it becomes playable. Oh and of course all of the DLC or you miss out on half of the game. Physical media today is just pointless.
>You will own nothing
This is why I only deal with retro stuff these days. I have Super Nintendo/Super Famicom games from over 30 years ago that still work and even the save functionality still works. Will any game made today be able to be used in 30 years from now? Probably not.
I thought they already shut down the ps3 store like 7 years ago
>>538174606Im advocating for piracy not physical media. Fuck buying entertainment
>>538172933board games are the way
