I used to oppose socialism and wealth redistribution. I was under the notion that Trickle Down Economics works, and to be fair, it does. Allowing businesses to keep more of their capital will, all things being equal lead to more investment and higher productivity. Guaranteeing property rights to those, even those who have too much, legitimizes property. Regimes that confiscate wealth arbitrary create an insecure unbalanced economy where nobody can engage in long-term planning because any wealth generated will be confiscated by the state or ruling elite. It's why in tinpot dictatorships you rarely see any long term capital investment or accumulation. That said, the wealthy do not give a FUUUUUCK about these ideals when it comes to the middle class or working class. Look up the Enclosures Act, the wealthy in Britain used the state to forcefully confiscate thousands of acres of peasant land because they wanted to farm sheep for the nascent wool manufacturing industry. The wealthy in the U.S supported tax reforms that RAISE TAXES on working people. They support NIMBY regulations that lock people out of the real estate market. The wealthy support state sanctioned monopolies for themselves, and subsidies to their own businesses. They are more than willing to violate every free market principle and do away with the fundamentals of private property when it benefits them, yet the poor are expected to play by universal rules. And to be clear, this doesn't mean we have to fully reject markets, private enterprise, and business... it means we should restructure our legal and tax systems so that the working and middle classes see the fruits of their labor rather than the oligarchy. It's class warfare, and right now only one team is organized.
>>538187987I Love socialism so long as it follow the constitution.
>>538187987>Why I Became a SocialistBecause you are a lazy nigger and want me to pay for your shit
>>538188189It's actually not unconstitutional at all, especially given the original constitution.Congress does have the power to levy taxes. They can, fully within constitutional authority, levy high taxes on the wealthy and lower taxes on the poor. They can fund the entire state apparatus exclusively by taxing the wealthy at a high rate.Individual states have full authority to build SWFs to fund themselves. California could tax the wealthy, tax corps, and use those funds to create a Calfiornian Hedge Fund, the proceeds of which will fund the State so working people don't need to be taxed. All of this is fully consistent with the constitution, as originally intended.
socialism seems like a big grift. people always want me to help them but they never wanna help me back.
>>538187987>meme flag>retardationWhy I know you're a zionist...
>>538188405>All of this is fully consistent with the constitution, as originally intended.I agree with you.
>>538187987See the thing is, I'm nationalistic and racist, so any form of collectivized movement I would support, if it's just some marxist fag wanting to crawl to the top of power by gathering themselves up an orc horde, count me out. I'd rather be in with Pinkertons.I don't want to steal people shekels just because I'm jelly. Most of what you have to say taken by itself is reasonable enough though.
>>538189865I'm against stealing peoples shekels too. My issue is that the wealthy have zero problem stealing from us via any means they can. They belittle the poor for wanting welfare, so do I... but they are fine taking subsidies. They say its fiscally irresponsible to fund free healthcare, maybe so... but they will HAPPILY print money and loan it to themselves at 0% interest to engage in stock buybacks, devaling working peoples' wages while inflating their asset valuations.
>>538190197sounds reasonable
Maybe the current monetary system is the thing that sucks. I can't imagine what would be better though.
Why are pajeets so ugly and stupid?
>>538187987>t. Globohomo jewYour members, but more importantly your ideologies, all inherently hate men, families and White people specifically. No thanks
>>538190669So what's your alternative.>>538191014None of this is true.
>>538187987I like capitalism as long as it is in its place. The Oval Office is not that place. Capitalism should never be in charge. It should always be the tool of society. Never the master. It's like putting fire in charge of things instead of keeping it in furnaces and kilns where it belongs. If fire had its way, it would eat everything and leave nothing behind but ashes.
>>538191154And that's what we're saying.Markets are amazing for allocating resources, Mises proved this, but we should be using the productivity generated by such an amazing system to make it so working people aren't taxed to death. The state should be able to finance itself via taxing the productive capacity.
>take from the wealthy and give to the poorSo you're gonna steal from white people and give it to immigrants.
