While race realism is undeniably a concept /pol/ subscribes to—would it even really matter once genetic engineering reaches the point where we can manipulate and establish a certain baseline of intelligence? I mean, I do understand the viewpoint that Ethnicity A looks a certain way, has a defined border and homeland, culture, and so on, which is something that ought to be respected and kept. But sometime in the near future the argument that the immigration of certain groups is something that is a very bad thing because of obvious difference in intelligence might be one that's evaporates if what was first mentioned does indeed occur, no? At which point the argument would eventually pivot to second thing entirely, i.e. the right of certain ethnicities to look a certain way, to an ethnostate, culture, etc

Even leaving aside the questionable feasibility of reliably manipulating a complex polygenic trait like intelligence at scale, immigrants being stupid / violent / whatever genetically-rooted undesirable macro trait isn't the primary point. Different peoples have meaningfully different, genetically-rooted cognitive-emotional-behavioral profiles that ensure they will all subtly (or not so subtly) not quite get along with each other, or have the same ideas about how societies and social norms should be shaped, which produces friction, constant tension, and resentful compromises that impoverish everyone. They should be allowed to develop societies that are ideally suited to, and an expression of the unique nature of, themselves, both because they will most readily flourish in such idiosyncratically tailored societies and because allowing that "flower" to grow and evolve on its own terms to reach the fullest expression of its own nature is a good in and of itself. One of the biggest reasons everyone likes Japan so much is because it's so weird and different from everywhere else (inb4 Chinese and American influence yes I know), and that is largely a function of it being a monoethnic island at the end of the world that has historically been very closed off, allowing the aforementioned process to take place unmolested. Everyone should have the opportunity to do something similar, and the world would be better off for it

I'd add that having different racial groups together also means that you have permanent, separate political constituencies that will inevitably compete with each other.Japanese people are actually a really good example because people often try to treat them as "model minorities," but the simple fact that they are a minority group means that they have interests that are different from the majority. They also have an easier time networking with each other (for the "community leaders") and mobilizing the greater mass of Japanese Americans as a constituency simply because they're a smaller group. Jews are the ur-example of this. They're basically a social parasite evolved to attack European society like this at this point. If anything their high IQ and the fact they aren't unruly niggers makes them even more of a problem because they're more capable of playing the spoils system a multiethnic political entity inevitably becomes. Shekels are nothing next to this. A healthy society says no.
