What’s the actual consensus on Communism here, anons?I literally know nothing about it other than the usual "communism bad" talk. I’ve never actually stepped foot in a communist country myself.Is it actually as dystopian as the media/history books claim, or is it just Western propaganda? Within just 6 months the place has lost 14 billion in tax revenue, cut dozens of programs and killed over hundred people from starvation and exposure to weather. It becomes the only entity allowed to invest in industry, see a return on investment, and it gets a monopoly in every market sector. It "works" for a while, technically. At best, it will only stagnate every sector of society. At worst, millions will be killed due to incompetence.
