What kinda man would rather work in an office than drive a trash truck? Would you rather sit at a desk doing glorified paperwork all day with HR breathing down your neck, or drive a big truck that has levers and controls and diesel engine and a big trash compactor?Road works too. You really dont understand. There aren't going to be huge obvious lay-offs because of AI. It is much more subtle than that. It's the consultant type jobs that are gone. People who used to have to go to an accountant, financial advisor, lawyer, developer, etc. All of those jobs will be enormously reduced.People are already using AI instead of paying thousands to a lawyer for a simple legal case. I personally did this and sued someone for defamation, historically a difficult case to win in Australia, and I won. I made it more expensive for them to fight it than for me to keep launching suits, and they apologised.Etc etc. AI is a tool of the people.
