>>538254997"Jai Shri Ram" means "Hail Lord Rama" (a Hindu god) but it's also an expression of Hindu nationalism, roughly like how saying "Hail Odin" to someone is subtextually ethnonationalist. "As-salamu aleykum" means "peace be upon you" in Arabic and is a semi-formal way of greeting people in Islamic societies; it'd be a bit odd to say it to a non-Muslim in a non-Islamic country (it's basically a way Muslims greet each other) but it doesn't really carry the same culturally aggressive connotation of "Jai Shri Ram", which is presumably why Siri provides the standard "wa-alaikum assalam" (and upon you be peace) response to the Arabic phrase but (I'm assuming) not the appropriate Hindi one

Iphone isn't some alien technology that runs on magic, you can very easily take one apart and see exaclty how it works and that's IF they already haven't gotten everything via corporate espionage.
