No phones, no internet. You were bored more often but out of that boredom came moments of true fun and creativity. The highs were higher. People did things just to do things, not just to show other people that they did things. People lived with more intention and less mindless consumerism... Although consumerism was still very big. We were blessed in our ignorance.
