Thus, they cannot admit any wrongdoings and obvious flaws of the Reich, because that interferes with their fantasy. Which is, when you think about it, rather stupid, because any connection to Hitler at this point is just holding down any kind of ideology or set of ideas you are trying to convey, since it makes it so much easier to discredit and attack it because of the public stigma. Had they actually cared about the ideas they are allegedly trying to promote, they would have long ago dropped Adolf and focused on distancing themselves from his stained image as much as possible. But in that case the whole roleplaying thing would be at risk of becoming redundant, so this is no way forward for them.

I think maybe the aesthetics attract younger generations who would otherwise be buying shoes and clothes to the and copy nogs. I do think many people do actually believe the ideas the promote, and portraying Nazi asthetics is a good display of what’s possible when the folk is in sync with each other but ultimately it’s mainly acts as a larp.
