China is $10 trillion higher than us when PPP GDP is taken into account vs nominal GDP. PPP is what actually matters when measuring GDP because it takes into account international dollars and local prices. When PPP is considered India has been rapidly approaching the US and yet we still allow millions of them to flood all across the world. We have been getting screwed so badly.

Chinese don't realise real data. Standards of living says enough about an economy.
>>
GDP is a fake number. It just measures transactions. A state using uncovered debt to conduct a transaction as a circular ponzi chain of transactions enters the metric as well. Is it productive, hell no.

GDP, fakest fake metric ever
>>
And Producer price index is as fake. Just price inflation, so hyperinflationary monetary policy increases ppp
Completely fake

Poor countries always have a much larger PPP than nominal GDP, same as poor countries usually run large trade surpluses. If you go to a poor country, you notice that things are cheap because wages are low and this is what people can afford, while if you go to a rich country, prices and wages are high. This is what the PPP figure reflects: the cost of labor in the country. The higher the gap between PPP and nominal, the poorer the people are.

Can you clearly state what you have concluded from the data? I'm struggling to see how India approaching the US in GDP (PPP) should change our response to Indian immigration.

This has to be fake the US has one of the worst PPP on earth. The median price of a particle board 3 bedroom house is almost half a million dollars

>If you go to a poor country, you notice that things are cheap
We live in a poor country and everything is criminally overpriced

Yeah, I tend to look for male life expectancy as a better gauge. But even then, it's averages.
Purchasing power maybe? But that's more for consoomers.

Rule of law. Business needs a territory with clear cut formalized rigorously executed rule sets. No wiggle words, no favoritism. Singapore was a place to be for long due to how it applied its laws independent of status let alone ethnicity.

Second corruption index. If a territory allows its polity to enrich itself indiscriminately like the USA, its not possible to conduct proper business, where Singapore literally froze public officials wealth and had them killed for corruption

India has better living standards than Russia?

Shills were spamming about India running out of fuel and starving, but turns out it's happening to Russia instead.

>PPP is what actually matters
No, HFCE is what actually matters. China exists to serve us cheap shit on a platter. All raw materials exchanged are for the sole purpose of placating the US with cheap consumer goods.
>b-but
If they lose access to the US market, 80% of their industries close down overnight, and the only thing they can import is food to feed their own people that they can no longer afford.

It's cute that you care about your timber or steel trades but those all have the end goal of creating a cheap consumer good to send to the US.
