Turkey conducts a Tayfun Block‑3 ballistic missile test, striking a small boat (length <10 meters) from a range exceeding 800 km. Terminal phase is hypersonic.

The moment of strike, apparently the missile moves 50 meters in 1/30 of a second, making its terminal speed Mach 5
>>
>>538352035
How many western components are in this missile?
>>
>>538352539
South Korean, Chinese, Dutch and American.

I dont know about "western".

Turks don't understand diplomacy, there is a reason Greeks ran Ottoman Empire foreign relations, and why Greeks have been historically great diplomats. Buying USA, French, etc weapons is only partially about the weapons. It is the modern equivalent of paying taxes to the King for protection. Greeks buy USA and French weapons and have special treaties with them for WW3. Turks went the strong-man route of not buying weapons and trying to go solo.
If you have been paying attention there has been pro-Greek, anti-Turk statements from Trump, Macron and Ursula recently

Completely ITAR and EAR free. Also, Turkey is a part of the MTCR, so countries don't sell technology for ranges above 300 km.

Another view of the launch, with better sound

>hypersonic
Most overused term. Then America had hypersonic missiles since the 60s.
>>
>>538353040
>60s

These missiles are hypersonic during flight not during terminal phase. Also, they had a CEP like a few kilometers.

This one has CEP of 10 meters, and engages target @ Mach 5

Ukraine is a great example that US and France provides. A nation gets destroyed if they ever trust americans

I'm sure that will be useful in your inevitable war with Israel

Anon i... I thought this is common knowledge. All ballistic missiles that reach karman line, goes hypersonic at some point. This one also stays hypersonic in terminal phase.

unironically impressive. now use them on israel

LOL this is stupid as shit. LARPing fag

I don't know about military stuff but I know some lads are into all that so I will ask: in a hot conflict between modern developed nations, is it fair to assume that all these giant aircraft carriers and other navy ships we see in films and shit would just be blown up on day 1 by missiles like these?
>>
>>538353187
If it isn't semi ballistic or can't do aggressive maneuver than it's not hypersonic just beacuse it barely flys mach 5 which most of medium range ballistic missiles already do since the v2 era.

The rocket engine is still running just milliseconds before the strike.
>>538355217
It has limited maneuvering capability with a small sensor suite on the tip of the missile. Without that capability, it couldn't hit this little boat.

Good goys , give ballistic missiles to the Kurds when your kind goes extinct !
>>
>>538355331
I think you are butthurt. Because this is the carrier killer tech.
>>
>>538355199
Not quite anon. There are military jammers that can somehow disrupt those rockets. Remember Moskau the flagship? Yeah so basically thats the only tactic to take a ship out. Swarm as many drones as possible and then send a barrage of rockets towards it and hope for the best. Technical the same tactic would also work on an aircraft carrier but it needs to be alone otherwise you really need a shit load of drones to even hope for a positive outcome
>>
>>538355381
You idiots are building weapons that can destroy your perceived enemies will kurd rats are outbreeding you. The kurd rat species are your enemies for fuck sake

Correct me then. Oh shit, you can't.
>>
>>538355275
Just answer if it can do what I said. Plenty of hypersonic weapons are marketing gimmick like the recent blackbeard missile which barely flys mach 5 but don't have true hypersonic features when it's just a cheap PrSM.

The eastern-Greek provinces soon will be reincorporated into the Byzantine world-empire, and all the Gökt*rks and other illegal invaders will be cast out back into the cursed stepped from whence they spawned.
And that melon-seller Erd*gan at the forefront of them

Some uzbek jihadists wearing flip flops ass raped those kurds just a few months ago. They are of little concern. Majority of these Kurds are also loyal to the government; they will be used as cannon fodders.
>>
>>538355583
Anon, they are investing in rockets when they are being outbreed by Kurds. I don't want to have a kurd rat nation state at the gates of Europe , if anything the only reason I hate Turks is for not genociding this rats
>>
>>538355686
>Majority of these Kurds are also loyal to the government; they will be used as cannon fodders.
Anon, please remember how those loyal Kurds were doing terrorist attacks in western turkey. PKK is still a thing. For the sake of humanity just bayonet kurd babies upon birth
>>
>>538355734
PKK got crushed, they are defeated. those tactical armed drones annihilated them.

Checked this shit is also not a true hypersonic weapon. Another MIC marketing bullshit. Reminder for retards if it isn't a glide vehicle or a scramjet then its fake and gay.
>>
>>538352035
can they hit when it's moving? Can they pick the right boat out of others in the area?
>>
>>538355868
Do you ever asked yourself why that terrorist rat ocalan said stop? He is more cunning then he looks due to his Jewish roots. He knows that kurd rats breed well like rats and if you check your demographics you are being replaced by them right now. Don't you think he just knows this and wants a well prepared turkey to rule?
Chemical Ali was an angel and I hope he comes back to gas the kurds once more
>>
>>538355973
I didn't say it's a hypersonic glider, which only 2 or 3 countries have that capability. Probably we can have this by 2040s

Unpowered HGV are more easier option. Heck even iran has them. So I don't think it would take that much time for you guys.
>>
idk as an Algerian I think our land launched YJ-12 (CM-302) are better than some expensive hypersonic
plus they can be land-attack missile so dual use
>>
>>538352035
Nobody cares about these gimmicks, they only impress jeets. Wake me up when you flatten Tel Aviv
>>
>>538356954
We already have fiber drones that can engage beyond ranges of 80 km. Meaning our dudes in Syria and wreck shit Haifa.

We ain't Iran bro. We are going to teach those uptight kikes a good lesson.
