>>538377537mechanically it's about where it was a few months ago. the main difference is now there is a cheap and high quality paper to print the cards at home with standard consumer printers, which removes the need for professional printing and distribution. it also removes the development cap/delay imposed by traditional manufacture and distribution. basically it can be easily decentralized now. the easy printing of high quality cards at home was a problem that had to be solved for this game and all other TCGs. the paper had to be developed and custom produced. solving this problem also solved funding because of the market demand for easy home printable cards.also, the tabletop sim version has had a lot of scripting features added which makes it's similar to mtg arena, where most actions are automated and don't required manual dragging, dropping, or selection.while the game itself has not changed much since 3-4 months ago, the mechanisms needed for cheap/easy/high quality asynchronous development and testing have been established.
