Previous floods of this magnitude back in 2020 and 2023 have already badly damaged the 3 gorges, as you can see in the photo where there's visible meters wide deformations in the superstructure of the dam. China just got lucky that the previous 2 years have been drought years, because the dam is so broken that a single bad flood will completely destroy it. The dam has no chance of survival in the coming mega-floods , we will see half a billion chinks die before the end of the year.
