"Woke" is just a general set of positions from anyone adopting a hierarchy of epistemological advantages. The fact is it did not go away, and any group will adopt these ideas if it helps them. It's just momentarily lost momentum as an argument because things have broken down enough that truth is more and more openly recognized as raw power. But there are enough people that care about rhetoric that this still has sway at the moment.

Woke was largely just fallout from the GFC and the establishment trying to subvert movements like OWS by employing the college educated people who were sympathetic to that cause. Deal was simple, these brainwashed recently college educated socialists all get jobs and they get to pretend to have influence by being allowed to police the workplace and make everyone else pretend to care about cripples, fags and niggers. Problem is that these people can't do their fucking jobs properly. That they had gone to college was supposedly to be a certificate that they weren't retarded, but they were.
