My genetic test came back 74% European (Portuguese/Spanish/Italian) and 26% Native American plus Sub Saharan african, and that puts me in a curious racial limbo. I am a middle class Latin American with very light skin and curly black hair. In Brazil people call me white, in the US they call me Latino, even though my birth certificate says white. But DNA do not lie: one quarter of me is not European. So here is my question for /pol/: with 74% European blood, am I white? And if I go to Europe or the US, will I be treated as European or as a Latino immigrant? In the US, one percent nonwhite already kick you out of the club; in Brazil, as long you are not jet black, you are white. Which criterion win: DNA, phenotype, culture, or the country where you are?
