They could have pulled it off but made a couple big strategic blunders which they could not afford to make because they were inherently fighting at a big disadvantage in terms of manpower and natural resources. If you replayed it 10 times they probably would have won 2-4 times out of 10

They had a few years to run free solely because they had the will to fight while others were still hesitant because of how bad WW1 had been. And if they didn't want to have "the whole world" against them then maybe they should have played diplomacy better.

No, they really did get rekt in Russia, and there's no realistic way they could've won. The biggest cope is that maybe they could've taken Moscow if Hitler hadn't ordered the army to turn away from the city, but his decision led to the capture of Kiev and a massive encirclement of Soviet troops, which was the largest of the war. So it's not like it was a catastrophic mistake, and despite this, they still lost badly.
